Tony first went to Italy in the fall of 1989, and he’s been back twenty times since — sometimes on his own, sometimes with others, and sometimes leading groups. On this very special retreat, Tony will introduce you to the sights of Rome and Florence, and maybe more importantly the tastes of those cities.

The mornings will begin with a devotion, a prompt, and some time to write. Then we will visit sites including the Roman Forum and Colosseum, the Vatican and St. Peter’s Basilica, the Uffizi Museum, and more. After a late lunch and siesta, we will gather for a glass of wine and a writing workshop. Then we will enjoy the Italian tradition of passeggiata, followed by an unforgettable dinner.

The trip costs $3499, with a $500 surcharge for single accommodations. This trip is limited to eight participants.
